Dr. William Christopher Patton brings over two decades of experience in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery to Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists. A native of Biloxi, Dr. Patton graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi. After earning his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, he completed his orthopaedic residency at University of Tennessee- Chattanooga and completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the prestigious Hughston Clinic. Dr. Patton previously practiced at Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic in Mobile, AL where he served on the Board of Directors and served as team physician for Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Dr. Patton is subspecialty certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is known for his patient-first approach and extensive experience in treating shoulder and knee injuries, including complex ligament repairs and sports-related trauma. Dr. Patton is married to Dr. Cindy Patton, and they have one son.
