Karen is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and works in collaboration with Dr. Daniel Wittersheim to provide comprehensive orthopaedic care for adults and adolescents. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at William Carey University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Eager to expand her horizons, Karen furthered her education and earned a Master’s of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from the University of South Alabama. A native of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Karen’s journey took her to other parts of the country for nearly 10 years before moving back to her roots on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Karen finds extreme joy in the company of her family. In her spare time, she embraces the moments spent with her husband, her daughter, and their puppies.
