Biloxi, MS – May 27, 2025 – Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists is proud to announce the addition of
Ramon F. Rodriguez, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, to
its distinguished team of providers. With nearly two decades of experience in advanced orthopedic care,
Dr. Rodriguez is excited to join the Bienville team this May.
A native of New Orleans, Dr. Rodriguez earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University
School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama.
He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the American Sports
Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama—considered one of the top foot and ankle training
programs in the world. Dr. Rodriguez most recently served patients in Mobile, Alabama, and previously
held academic and leadership roles at Tulane University School of Medicine, including Chief of Foot and
Ankle Reconstruction.

Dr. Rodriguez is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds active medical
licenses in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. He has been a dedicated mentor and educator, holding
the position of Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at Tulane and actively participating in professional
organizations such as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgeons.

and will be affiliated with local hospitals and Bienville Surgery Center.
